Our shared tours are small group tours, usually about 17 people maximum, which are perfect if you do not want to invest in a private tour but are looking for quality service. They are available every day and cover many of the most popular and favorite destinations in Morocco.

Itinerary

You will be picked up by the driver at 7:00 a.m. first thing in the morning, from your hotel or any other location of your choice in Marrakech.

While on the road to the magnificent dunes of Merzouga, you can enjoy the wonderful landscapes on the way, crossing the High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (located at 2260 altitude), and passing through a few Kasbahs and atlas Berber villages…

Your first stop will be in Aït Benhaddou’s Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also known as the location where several Hollywood blockbuster movies and series were shot, such as “Gladiator”, “Game of Thrones”, “Prince of Persia“, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “The Mummy”, “Lawrence of Arabia”, and many more…

Then you will continue the trip to Dadès, passing through Kalaa M’Gouna “The Valley of Roses” and Dadès’ river. Once there, you will be taken for a sunset tour, and spend the first night and (have a nice dinner) in a very clean and comfortable hotel.

After having breakfast, visiting Dadès’ Gorges’ and taking some awesome selfies and pictures of the landscapes, your journey to Merzouga’s Sahara desert, continues. Old Valleys and Oasis’ will be awaiting you along the way.

Passing through the Oasis to Todra’s canyon, one of the most spectacular canyons in the world. Once there you can take a break and visit around if you like. Afterwards, you will continue your trip to Tinjdad town, where you will have lunch before continuing to Erfoud The Moroccan capital city of Fossil’s.

Then arriving to Merzouga in the afternoon, around 4pm. Once there you will get to a hotel, where you can leave some of you luggage and only take what’s necessary for the night. Water, food, etc… will be packed and ready before leaving.

From there the adventure starts by riding the Camels crossing the sand dunes, each person will have his own camel (The ride is about 1h30). On the way, at sunset, you will have the opportunity for a break to take some cool pictures.

On the arrival to the desert camp (Nomad tents or Bivouacs), a cup of Moroccan berber Tea will be waiting for you, as well as a delicious Moroccan berber Tagine for dinner. Then a party, where local berber nomad musicians start playing traditional music using Drums and dancing around the campfire. Also the stars are magical to watch

First thing in the morning, Your Camelman guide will take you on a camel ride returning to the hotel in Merzouga, have a break for lunch in Ouarzazare, before heading to Africa’s Hollywood: Ouarzazate, a.k.a. “The Door of The Desert” where you will visit the atlas movie studios and Taourirt’s Kasbah where many blockbuster movies were shot. The arrival to Marrakesh is at 7:00PM.
