You can always choose between our private or shared tours. In the private tours, you get to enjoy VIP treatment and have your own fully qualified and accredited guide for a better experience of the Moroccan desert.
Our shared tours are small group tours, usually about 17 people maximum, which are perfect if you do not want to invest in a private tour but are looking for quality service. They are available every day and cover many of the most popular and favorite destinations in Morocco.
The trip begins by discovering the High Atlas, you will be passing by Berber villages and enjoying the panoramic view from the High Atlas mountains. You will be traversing the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass to get to the fortified small town of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site, which you will get to discover for yourself and eat a meal at. After that we will be taking the path to Ouarzazate to visit the museum and famous cinema studios. We depart to Zagora, at arrival you will change your modern vehicle for a camel which you will be riding in the desert. In the evening, you will be enjoying the magnificent sunset then you will be going back to camp for a traditional Moroccan dinner around a campfire. You will be spending the night in a nomad tent in the middle of the desert.
In the early hours of the day you will be witnessing the sunrise, then back at the camp you will be eating your breakfast before continuing our tour towards Ouarzazate. You will be passing through the Agdez valley and Draa Valley lined with palm trees and ancient Kasbahs, giving you the opportunity to appreciate the marvellous palm groves and green oases! Arriving at Ouarzazate, you will be eating your lunch and visiting the Taourirt Kasbah with its alleys and homes made with authentic adobe. In the afternoon we end our visit, and finally go back to our starting place, Marrakesh.
Expect a journey filled with scenic beauty and cultural experiences. The trip includes a drive through the High Atlas Mountains, a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a camel trek to your desert camp, and an unforgettable night under the stars
Pack light but don’t forget essentials like a hat, sunscreen, comfortable clothing, a jacket for the cool desert nights, and a camera to capture the stunning landscapes.
The highlight of the trip is often the camel trek and the night spent in a traditional Berber tent under the starlit desert sky.
